The contest for world’s best business class was once a tightly contested honor. With most airlines operating a variation of the same seat, the title came down to the finer points of the experience, such as service and other aspects, like food. In 2017, Qatar Airways went off script and uprooted the entire game, launching dine on demand, responsive service and fully private suites, which they affectionately call “first in business” – a double entendre indeed. As the airline rolls brand new Airbus A350-1000 planes out of the factory, they continue to upgrade flights to cities around the world, and this time – they’ve picked two of the best…

The Airbus A350-1000 is the newest and most advanced passenger plane in the sky, and Qatar Airways was the launch customer upon its debut on February 20th, 2018. In case you have any doubts about the impressive new features, here’s a tour of Qatar Airways first ever A350-1000, including 360° images of the famed QSuites.

According to information obtained by Business Traveller, Qatar Airways will begin Airbus A350-1000 service from Doha to the far more convenient Tokyo airport, Tokyo Haneda, beginning January 1st, 2019. The aircraft will operate flights 812, 813 respectively and will offer the first private business class suite Tokyo has ever seen. As if you needed more reason to visit Japan.

Singapore Changi was one of the first airports to receive the Airbus A350, and will enjoy a major upgrade to the brand new, extended version shortly. Beginning November 1st, Qatar Airways flight 944 from Doha to Singapore will be operated by the Airbus A350-1000, complete with QSuites. The return flight 945 on November 2nd, will mark the first service from Singapore to Doha. And it doesn’t stop there: Qatar Airways second daily services 946, 947 will feature the A350-1000 beginning December 1st.
