It’s a great time to have a lot of points. I mean, who doesn’t like upgrades, new cabins and far away hot spots? Plus, did you know Delta SkyMiles can get you a bottle of Dom Perignon in a Delta SkyClub?

Travel is reopening quickly, countries too, and getting there in better style, or spending less to do more, makes the joy of travel even greater. That’s where the Delta SkyMiles come in, particularly with huge new welcome bonuses on a variety of Amex cards.

For a limited time, Delta has brand new offers on their Delta Skymiles American Express credit cards, which not only bring up to 95,000 SkyMiles, but also, new Delta statement credits with up to $200 back on Delta flights.

Since Delta SkyMiles can be used towards cash tickets at 1 cent per piece towards flights, the points are worth at least $950, if used properly, with the great ways to book luxury cabins, perhaps even more!

Delta Amex Increased Welcome Bonuses

Delta won lots of fans in recent times by blocking middle seats and creating extensive health protocols on board, but as travel shifts back into full swing, the airline is flying toward something people love even more: points and statement credits.

Delta has increased offers on the Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express Card, Delta SkyMiles Platinum American Express Card and the Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card, which not only line your pockets with miles, but help get some money back on flights, right away.

Each of those cards offers a $200 statement credit on your first Delta purchase, which can help offset either some, or all of your first year annual fee on the card. Plus, it can help make your next trip cheaper.

So like, if you were buying $500 worth of flights, you would get $200 back! If you were buying a $200 flight, you’d get $200 back! Here’s how the bonuses break down for each card.

Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express Card

Earn 70K Bonus Miles when you spend $2,000 within the first 3 months and a $200 statement credit after your first Delta purchase within the first 3 months.

Each of the cards is also offering 0.00% APR on purchases for the first 12 months, then a variable 15.74% – 24.74% based on your creditworthiness and other factors. This is a nice addition, to an already outstanding bonus.

Should You Consider These Rewards Credit Cards?

If you’re a Delta fan, fly Delta and like the experience, these cards are a fantastic way to work towards new perks, new cabins and perhaps higher Delta Medallion elite status.

90,000 SkyMiles can be nearly enough points for round trip business class to Europe during a Delta SkyMiles Flash Sale, and can also be used to offset the cost of any cash flights, at a value of up to $900.

Delta also made upgrades easy in recent years, allowing anyone to upgrade virtually any ticket with the tap of a button, using miles or cash. If you want to upgrade, the app shows a price in miles or cash, so having a bunch of SkyMiles on hand, perhaps for a long overnight flight, is always nice!
