Once you close the door, you can never go back…
Some might say Qatar Airways receive an unfair amount of praise for their business class cabin. Those people clearly haven’t actually flown Qatar business class. While other airlines were just beginning to add flat beds with aisle access, Qatar Airways created private suites, known as the famous “QSuite”. Business class sales on Qatar have largely dried up lately, but these £1598 Malaysia offers from London or Edinburgh are your best bet…
Most good Qatar Airways business class deals have traditionally originated from European cities like Stockholm, Oslo or Sofia. That’s fantastic for travelers in those cities, but not for UK peeps. These deals take you from London or Edinburgh to Penang, Malaysia. Penang is the perfect city to explore nearby Langkawi, or jet off to other Southeast Asian gems like Singapore, Bangkok, Laos, Vietnam and beyond. It’s also just a great place to stay. If traveling from London, you can select virtually any Boeing 777 or Airbus A350 flight, to lock in fully private QSuites on the leg from London to Doha and back. You’ll enjoy a Boeing 787 or A330 on the Doha to Penang flight.
These deals are available from November 2018 thru march 2019, for departures on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday. Most deals will require a Saturday stay, but if you’re departing on Thursday, that can make for quick turnarounds – not that you’ll want to! Langkawi is lovely.
These business class deals save the hassle of flying to other starting points, and are near the lowest prices we ever see from London to Asia. You can book directly with Qatar Airways here, by entering EDI, LGW or LHR for your departure point and PEN, for Penang, Malaysia as your destination. Be sure to stick to departures on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday, and use Qatar’s easy 7 day calendar tool to find low priced return dates. Currently working outbound dates include…
Nov: 5,17, 21, 28, 30
Mar: 1,2,4,6,7,8,,9,11,13,15,16,18,20,22,23, 25, 29.
All flights route via Doha, so if you’re interested in exploring, you can even wrangle a free hotel night. Doha is a spectacular place to layover, whether you leave the airport or not, thanks to the sprawling Al Mourjan business class lounge. It’s like a city. Here’s a Google Flights example, in case you have trouble pulling up dates.
