It’s a good thing airlines are transitioning to the word points. In today’s world, the age old “frequent flyer mile” was becoming more poorly named by the day. With so many ways to earn miles without flying at all, it’s just easier to call them points.

Plus, it helps more people realize that you don’t need to be a frequent flyer to reap fantastic travel benefits and rewards.

And with that notion, Virgin Red, the program which allows 1:1 points transfers with Virgin Atlantic, is out with 56 new partners allowing you to earn miles from home. It’s basically one easy way to earn, but 56 new places to do so.

Earn More Virgin Points With New Partners

Virgin Points are well… super useful. From Upper Class upgrades to stunning trips on partner airlines, there’s so much to love. Plus, you can use them for discounts on a flight, if nothing else.

Virgin Red, the wider Virgin loyalty program roping all the Virgin brands in together has announced 56 new ways to earn. They’re all from shopping. The “too long, didn’t read”, is that there’s 56 new stores where you can earn Virgin Points from home, just for your usual shopping.

The opportunity all hinges on making a click or two.

You pay the same prices for the same stuff you’re buying, but by clicking over to your favorite shops or stores online from Virgin Red (first), your purchases track back and you earn points based on the money you spend.

If Farfetch, one of my favorite fashion retailers, is offering 5 points per dollar spent, and I spend $1000, I’ll earn 5,000 Virgin Points. Both the UK and US benefit from a big selection of retail partners to supercharge earning.

Show Me The 56 New Virgin Red Partners

Alright already, we’ve stalled long enough. A few of the new Virgin Red retail partners include. To check out which ones apply to you, just open the Virgin Red app or online site in your country and see which partners are offering what…
