The beach is calling…
When it comes to fare deals that take you across the Atlantic, our favorites are the ones that let you lie down for the flight and that’s just what we have here. Iberia has some sweet deals out of multiple cities in Spain if you want to visit Mexico — perhaps, the beaches of Cancun? We’re talking prices lower than €990. If that’s not enough, the 280 Tier Points you can earn on the long-hauls between Madrid and Mexico City might persuade a few of you!
The Iberia Deals
The best part of this deal is that it works on a bunch of routes between Spain and Mexico. We imagine Cancun will be quite popular and it’s actually even cheaper to fly there than to stop in Mexico City. The long-haul segment from Madrid to Mexico City is listed at 11 hours and 20 minutes, so you’re really going to appreciate the bed on this one.
Here are some of the cities in Spain from which you can fly (there could be more):
|Barcelona||Palma de Majorca|
Destination options in Mexico include (maybe more):
The best prices are generally out of Madrid but you’ll still get a great deal regardless of which city in Spain is your starting point. It could even be worth a cheap positioning flight to Madrid start the journey if you’re in the UK or other EU country.
The Dates You Can Fly
You can find these deals on many dates between July and December. So, whether you want to book a summer or winter holiday at the beach or perhaps try some amazing restaurants in Mexico City, you have a lot of options.
How To Book Iberia Business Class
Unfortunately, we’re not seeing these deals when searching Google Flights so you’ll want to head over to Iberia’s site to search directly with the airline. With a flexible date search, you will be able to see 3 days before and after your selected date just in case the deal isn’t available on the specific date you search.
Thoughts On Iberia Business Class
Iberia operates an older Airbus A340 on this route but having just flown it between New York (JFK) and Madrid, I can say that they have kept them in pretty good condition. It doesn’t have the glitz of Emirates — you might prefer this — but I enjoyed the meals and the service was great. As an example, I dozed off after dinner and one of the flight attendants put a blanket on me. It’s little things like that which make flights just that little bit better.
