Even if you’re not already a British Airways Executive Club member, you can join for free here. Once joined, you can take advantage of £50 off any long haul flight from the UK or $70 from the US. We’ve seen some great deals from both sides of the pond lately, offering economy around $400 round trip and premium economy as low at £550 round trip! Think of the discount as partial advanced compensation for the experience you’ll have or part payment for the time and hassle involved in resolving issues when dealing with BA’s customer “service”. Alternatively, bringing the BA fare closer to offering value for money in the marketplace. Either way, consider the net cost of using BA vs. competitors and the challenges involved in getting them to resolve operational issues
