There are low fares, and then there are super low fares on full service carriers to incredible places you actually want to go. If you’ve been eyeing up an epic safari, or perhaps a two in one trip to Cape Town and Johannesburg, planning the perfect trip just got a whole lot cheaper. There’s a major sale going out of almost all UK cities for travel to South Africa, which is nothing short of epic, by they way…

The Ridiculous Economy Deals…

After recent headlines, a few airlines feel like it might be a great time to steal some business from carriers operating out of the UK. Swiss, Air France and KLM have each launched absurdly low deals to Johannesburg, even over peak travel dates. This means you can depart from almost any UK city, such as London, Inverness, Birmingham, Southampton, Glasgow or Edinburg and enjoy South Africa for less than £400 round trip. Amazing.

The Dates You Can Jet Off On These Deals…

These deals are around from November 2017 through to March 2018. Since these deals are bonkers, not every date you may want will be available. You’ll need to browse around a little bit, and sadly they are not available over winter holidays or New year, but anything before or after should work! You’ll do best if you look for flights departing on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday…

How To Book These Deals And Enjoy South Africa…

You can book these deals direct with Swiss, KLM or Air France. You can search from your home airport to JNB directly on their website and should be able to pull up dates without too much effort. If you’re struggling to find the price mentioned, you can always use Google Flights. In general there’s more availability for the deal after the New Year than before, but it’s there. Share your success on finding and booking in the comments. You may be able to shave off a few extra bucks using CheapOAir or SkyScanner
