We came, we saw, people won flights…

Last night God Save The Points gate crashed took over the Virgin Atlantic & Delta pop-up London bar, “The Joint Venture”. When news came out that the two airlines were collaborating, opening a pop up London pub, the first and only thought was: how fun. As fun seekers and travel geeks, we knew we wanted to stop in, and not just to try the 230 beers celebrating 230 U.S. destinations for the two airlines. We couldn’t think of a better way to connect in person with our London friends and readers, and after packing out both floors, the surrounding streets, and consuming more than a few pints we couldn’t have had a better time. a glass of beer on coastersIf you were there, we hope you had a great time. Four lucky people walked away with free round trip flights to the USA, 50 people got commemorative pint glasses and most importantly, we got to meet fellow travelers who are as passionate about seeing the world as we are. There’s nothing better. We wanted the night to be informal and easy, and the Virgin team, Delta team, the Joint Venture team and ace bartender Russell made the night simply outstanding. Here are pictures, to rub it all in your face if you missed it…

It was too much fun not to. If you think a GSTP meet up is warranted in your city, leave a comment below with where we should have one. The city with the most responses will become an instant must do! It’s so much fun meeting people who share a passion for points, travel and flying in person, and that’s not just because it’s harder for them to say mean things to our faces than our comments section ; ). Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a night we won’t forget – and to many more ahead…
