Most of the time, the best flight deals mean compromising on something, like an indirect routing via a random country, or a trip in an inferior seat. Not today. Star Alliance airline Air China is pumping out highly aggressive fares to Shanghai, China using its new Airbus A350-900, complete with brand new business class seats. If that doesn’t sound like half a bad way to get to Shanghai round trip, read up on how to lock in this fantastic deal.

Shanghai SkylineThe Flight Deals

Air China’s Airbus A350 is leaps ahead of the airlines previous business class, offering a 1-2-1 configuration with a similar seat to the one used by American on the 787 and British Airways on the A350, amongst others. It’s a great way to fly, and for the price and the direct routing you really can’t ask for much more. And as far as service goes, you may not get much more anyway, so best not to ask ; )

But what you do get with these deals is flat bed business class on a brand new plane, with direct aisle access and direct flights, if Shanghai is your final destination. This is about as low as you ever find for direct London to Shanghai flights.

The Dates You Can Travel

This great bargain to Shanghai has dates in 2019 and 2020, starting November 5th and ending after March 2020. The best prices are only available for departures on a Tuesday or Wednesday and they do require at least a six night stay. One week trips from Tuesday to Tuesday or Wednesday to Tues work great, and much longer trips are completely fine too – just not shorter.

There’s also a few blackout dates around December holidays, but other than that you can absolutely find these offers in November, early December and all of January, February and March. Ok, got it.

Booking is really easy, so if you want in, you have no excuses. Shanghai is an awesome destination whether you’re catching the Rolex Masters Tennis, or just want to take a trip on the Maglev and see the future of train technology – and yes they do great there too. Since it’s in China, it’s just food here, there’s no need to call it Chinese food.
