Some of these are total bargains, and can save $1000’s…

If you’re travel plans include Singapore – either coming or going, Singapore Air’s latest and greatest “Spontaneous Escapes” sale might be just the ticket. Each month the airline offers an exclusive list of places you can jet off using points, with a 30% discount. Yes indeed, if a flight would usually require 100,000 points, you’ll be able to book for 70,000! Here’s how to take full advantage of these great opportunities, from places all over the world – like more than ten hours of business class for just 31,500 points!

This is super easy. Simply navigate to the Spontaneous Escapes page, or just take our advice on here and head directly to SingaporeAir.com and in the flight search box, enter “Redeem Flights”. You’ll need to book by June 30th, for travel from the 1st of July through the 30th. Only flights during this period count. Any of the deals can be booked round trip, or one way, starting in either direction, which makes them really handy! Again, just enter “redeem flights” and put in travel between one of these destinations and Singapore, and the 30% discount will automatically be applied once you actually click a flight. Yes – you must actually click a specific flight for the discount to magically appear.

Don’t overlook this by thinking you can’t book and definitely don’t forget to be creative, to try to weave this into another trip. You can instantly create Singapore KrisFlyer miles by transferring Amex, Citi, Chase or SPG points (Learn More). SPG transfers could take too long, so stick with the former three for safety, which should transfer in hours – not days. This can be a great way to piece together an around the world trip, or just see more of an exciting region, like heading from Southeast Asia to North Asia. Singapore Air does not charge surcharges on their own flights.
