a bed with white pillows and a light fixture

By football, we mean the kind played with your feet.

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of waking up in a plush bed, making a cup of coffee, drawing the curtains and taking in the magnificent views of… 80,000 screaming football fans? Wait, hang on a minute. That can’t be right. Marriott has partnered with Bayern Munich to offer undoubtedly the comfiest seat in the house, creating an actual hotel suite with field views. And yes – you’ll be able to book it. Better yet, you can win it!

Courtyard by Marriott, Allianz Arena and Bayern FC have teamed up to showcase the Courtyard brand. At luxury suite level, they’ve built a corner suite with signature bedding, amenities and of course – a view of the action. It offers an actual bedroom, in a football stadium. The suite will be a semi long term fixture, and you can literally watch the game while laying in bed. We’re under the impression it’s one way glass. We hope, at least.

Getting In…

The suite is a brilliant marketing ploy to raise awareness for Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott. They’re running a contest for a luck fan to win the suite for a night (and a day) during a Bayern game. Apparently, the suite will also be bookable for games too. No telling how much it will cost, but it’s about as epic of a sporting experience as you could possibly have. You can actually bid on the suite using points, in case those are easier to come by than cash! These auctions can offer extremely good value.

The Contest

You can enter the contest for VIP match tickets and a two night stay in Munich right here. You’ve got nothing to lose and some suite prizes to gain. The game will take place March 31st against staunch rival Borussia Dortmund. It may be the only time you’ve got a better seat than the owner! Congrats in advance to the winner. On top of the suite, there’s food and drinks included!
