If you’ve heard it before, it’s because its true. Since perhaps the early 60’s, there’s never been a better time to visit Europe from the USA than right this minute. Flights start at $285 round trip on major airlines and thanks to new solutions like Airbnb, places to stay can be bargains too. The best food in Europe tends to be cheaper than most meals in the USA too. Right now you can find all these answers for yourself, by using just 5,000 points to take $100 off any British Airways ticket in economy or premium economy. With flights starting around $315, that just became $215…

It’s not easy finding $200 round trip flights within the US, let alone the thrill of discovering London or any of the other amazing European cities you can visit via this promotion. This British Airways offer is incredibly simple: when you book a ticket by February 26th, for travel all year up until December 31st, 5,000 Avios Points will take $100 off the price. You can almost instantly create British Airways Avios by transferring Amex, Chase or Marriott points, so even if you don’t currently have any – you can.

How It Works

If you see a ticket for $300, and at the payment page you’ll have the opportunity to reduce it to $200 by using 5,000 points. This offer applies for all tickets of all prices in economy or premium. Simply login to your British Airways Executive Club account, or create one here if you don’t have one. Next, make sure you’ve got at least 5,000 points in there. Go to search for a ticket, observing normal prices and then on the payment screen you’ll see the option to use points to cover part of the ticket.

  • $326 Madrid round trip in March-May and September thru January.
  • $330 Barcelona round trip in March-May and September thru January.
  • $343 London round trip in March-May and September thru January.
  • $351 Rome round trip in March-May and September thru January.

The lowest prices are generally from east coast cities like New York, Boston or Miami, but there are great bargains out right now from virtually all of British Airways USA gateways. Speaking of which, there are quite a few new ones

Unlike when you use points to pay for a whole ticket, these deals allow you to earn elite status points and redeemable miles too. In fact, if you have elite status with British Airways, you may earn more miles back than you paid to reduce the price. Now that’s a serious freaking bargain!

Dates To Remember

This works for all British Airways flights from the USA and must be booked via British Airways. You must take up this limited time part payment offer by February 26th for flights up until December 31st 2019. That’s a wide window of opportunities.
