It’s no longer a secret: the world is reopening. Not only that, travel restrictions like Covid-19 testing and proof of vaccination are dropping rapidly, too.

That’s wonderful news, except for the fact that with all that pent up demand, and two years of travel budgets waiting to be spent, prices are on the rise too.

This summer promises to be one of the most exciting travel periods in decades, as people seek revenge on closed borders. With prices on the rise, any opportunity to save is appreciated, and Hyatt is throwing a lifeline, with one very-very small catch.

That catch? You need to be, or become a World Of Hyatt member to join in, but that’s free and takes seconds.

Hyatt’s 25% Off Sale With Perks Too

Hyatt has launched an exciting sale with 25% off, and in select markets, perks like breakfast for all, among others. That’s wonderful stuff. All you need to do to take part is join the World Of Hyatt program. It’s free and you can do that here.

Hyatt’s big sale launched March 15th for one week and ends March 22nd, for travel from April 1st through May 31st. It’s a fairly short booking window and stay window, but the savings are real and internationally, there are other perks too.

The sale applies to the US market, as well as internationally. For stays taking place in Europe, Middle East, Africa or Southwest Asia, breakfast is included for all guests, plus an additional discount. According to Hyatt, here’s what’s up for grabs…

Breakfast included for all staying guests as well as a 20% food and beverage discount on minimum 2-night stays at participating hotels in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Southwest Asia

Will It Be A True 25% Off?

Hotels are notorious for saying sale, and raising the rates the night before, so that prices work out about the same as before, but the brand can claim a discount. That shouldn’t be the case here.

Hotel rates fluctuate wildly from season to season and day to day, so just because a hotel is $250 today, for April 1st doesn’t mean it still will be if demand picks up.

If you want the best savings, it’s great to get a ballpark of what your dates cost today, and then check that figure against what the sale is offering in just about two weeks time. Most people should find bonafide savings, and for international trips, the extras like breakfast can be worth a bit too!

The sale link is now live, so happy deal hunting.
