The Deal
Any Avis car rental of two days or more in Europe, USA, Africa, Asia, Canada or the Middle East will trigger 6,000 bonus miles from Virgin Atlantic. This is an incredible opportunity, and you could achieve this for less than $50 in many of these locations. You must book by February 28th 2018 for rentals up to June 30th. Buying miles directly from Virgin Atlantic would cost £90, so any price lower than this could be considered worthwhile.
What To Know
There’s a dedicated landing page which explains virtually everything you may want to know. But in short: you must offer your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club number in advance. You must be 21 years or older and you must rent a “Group C” car or above.
Worth It?
If you have car rental needs in the next few months, this is a no brainer. If you don’t, it could well be worth finding a cheap rental to secure the points. It all depends how much time you have on your hands, and how easily you earn points. 6,000 points is nothing to be laughed at, especially at these rates. Enjoy!
