Food festivals seem to be back in fashion, so Chase Sapphire is getting back in on the action by sponsoring EEEEEATSCON, a food festival created by the media company The Infatuation, which Chase acquired.

Chase Sapphire cardholders have early access to purchase tickets, in addition to several benefits at the event itself, which takes place on October 8-9 at Forest Hills Stadium in Forest Hills, NY. Admission is $30 per person and you can buy up to ten tickets.

What You’ll Get at EEEEEATSCON

food festival - EEEEEATSCON

EEEEEATSCON is a recurring food festival that has been on hold over the past few years and is finally making a return.

The Infatuation, which is the company that founded the event, describes it as a music festival, except instead of musicians, restaurants and chefs will be the “headliners.” Makes sense, since the founders of The Infatuation are actually former music industry executives.

Benefits for Chase Sapphire Holders

Chase promises “exclusive events” as a benefit for Sapphire card holders, and EEEEEATSCON is one of those. Cardholders can buy tickets immediately, and the passcode is the phone number on the back of your card. You will also receive additional perks at the event itself, including:

  • Early entrance. You’ll be able to enter at 11 am, an hour earlier than the noon start time for the general public.
  • One complimentary food item.
  • Access to the Chase Sapphire Lounge

The Chase Sapphire Credit Cards

The Chase Sapphire cards featuring perks for the festival, Preferred and Reserve, each have many merits deserving of wallet spots. Both are currently offering a 60,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points bonus after you spend $4,000 in the first three months.

One extra thing to know about both cards, is that they come with primary rental car insurance, allowing you to decline the expensive coverage from the rental car company as long as the entire rental transaction is paid using your Chase Sapphire card.
