You can fly direct from Dublin to New York or connect from Dublin through London and then onto Los Angeles on the A380. Los Angeles to India/Dubai $2700 Round Trip Last time I checked India and Dubai were quite far from Los Angeles, making this an exceptional deal for a ton of flying. You can fly United or Lufthansa, with the opportunity to fly Lufthansa’s new A380’s with brand new business class to either Dubai or Delhi. There seems to be great availability in January and February with more possibilities beyond that. Bookable directly on United website

Stockholm/Gothenburg to Boston/New York £799/$1200 Round Trip: This is a very low fare across the atlantic with flat beds and a nice opportunity to see New York in style. There are great ranges in date availability from Mid March to April, July through end of August, Late November and all through Christmas of next year! The connection from Sweden to Berlin or Dusseldorf will be in Economy but the transatlantic (7+hour flight) will be in flat beds, very comparable to most top offerings. 360 Degree Movable Photo Review: Yesterday I completed what I believe to be the world’s first flight review utilizing 360 degree VR technology photos. It was of a really neat flight on what many consider to be British Airways “Private Jet”, it’s London City Club World Service. I’m really proud so check it out here

Qantas Giving Away Vintage Krug to Elites: Per Gary Leff, Qantas is recognizing it’s top tier flyers this year with vintage 2000 bottles of Krug. These retail over $300, making for a very generous holiday gift. What did your airline give you for Christmas? Virgin gave me a red ipad case : )

The British Airways Jet That Caught Fire In Vegas Will Fly Again: Forget pigs flying, British Airways is repairing the Boeing 777 that caught fire forcing evacuation at Las Vegas airport. Let me write down that tail number so I can ensure I never ever fly it.
