Want to earn 10x points on your next meal, or meals plural? You probably don’t even need a new rewards credit card. Chase is out with a limited time offer where you can earn 10X on up to $500 in spend, for a lovely 5,000 bonus points, all for trying their relatively new, and intriguingly cool dining partner, ‘Tock’.

10X Chase Dining For Chase Sapphire

Chase is offering Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve Cardholders 10X points when they use Tock, via Chase Dining before June 30th, 2021.

Tock is a more curated, high end competitor to UberEats and fellow Chase partner ‘DoorDash’, but with a slightly broader reach, and it powers the under the radar, but increasingly worthwhile Chase Dining platform. .

For example, you can book hard to get tables at fine dining restaurants, and Tock curates takeaway and special set menu dinners from top chefs in various cities across the USA. It can be as simple as food pickup or delivery, but it aims to be a bit more experiential too.

Earning Your 10X Points

This can be done relatively easily, by logging in on the Chase app, or online to Chase Dining, which Tock serves as the provider for. If you’re in the Chase app, select ‘see rewards, redeem points’ while looking at a Sapphire account and you should see the ‘Chase Dining’ menu option appear.

You’ll be able to pre-pay for set menu meals at select restaurants, such as an Omakase sushi experience, or select take out from a list of curated picks. There’s also delivery options.

When you complete the transaction via Chase Dining, there’s 10X points on up to $500 in spend for you. That’s 5,000 points, which using the Chase Sapphire Reserve Card is worth at least $75 toward future travel. After that, you’ll go back to the standard 2X for Sapphire Preferred, or 3X for Sapphire Reserve. You can use multiple transactions to top out the $500, so you don’t need one mega expensive meal to win out.

This is a lucrative little promotion which may lead to culinary bliss, and if your life is anything like mine, a happy stomach is a happy life. With an amazing rebate on points bringing at least $75 toward future travel from $500 of spending, there’s a lot to love.
