Rewards company Bilt has quickly become a “must-have” for anyone who pays rent and has built out a popular rewards scheme. Today, Bilt announced that it was adding three new Avios award currency partners, with British Airways Executive Club going live immediately and Iberia Plus and Aer Lingus AerClub to follow in September.
What Is Bilt?
The Bilt Mastercard is a card that allows you to earn points on rent and much more. This credit card will earn Bilt Points that can be used in the Bilt Rewards Program. Bilt Points are essentially the currency for Bilt Rewards.
The most unique aspect of Bilt Rewards is that it is a program created for people who want to earn points by paying their rent without a transaction fee. The structure is pretty simple: You can earn Bilt Points by paying rent to almost any landlord in the USA. Even if your landlord is outside of the Bilt Rewards Alliance, Bilt allows seamless rent payments to non-network landlords via the app.
You’ll need to make a minimum of five transactions per month on the card to get the Bilt Points for rent. With the combination of no annual fee and bonus points on travel (2X) and dining (3X), this card should be a strong consideration for anyone that currently pays rent.

Bilt Is Adding More Transfer Partners!
Bilt Points Transfer To Avios Currency
Bilt Rewards just announced that it is adding three new partners, all within the Avios award currency family. Transfers to British Airways Executive Club are active already. Iberia Plus and Aer Lingus AerClub will be coming in the next month or so. As is the case with the existing partners, all transfers should take place almost immediately.
Transfer of Bilt Points to British Airways Executive Club will be at a 1:1 ratio in 1,000 Bilt Point Increments. When you link your British Airways Executive Club account, you will also earn a bonus of 100 points.
Avios have a lot of uses, particularly short domestic flights on American Airlines. You might have to hunt, but the bargains are still there.
Of special note with the British Airways Executive Club Account is the ability to set up a household account and pool your Avios Points.
