Epicure – Le Bristol Paris, France

France being well known for its food may be a bit of an understatement, but visiting Epicure in Paris may just blow your mind even more than expected. In a beautifully stunning restaurant, chef Eric Frechon’s menu offers progressive french fare, including the unmissable dish of stuffed macaroni with black truffle, artichoke and duck foie gras, as well as many other perfectly (perhaps not nutritionally) balanced plates.. just check out the menu! After all.. Paris is the gourmet capital of the world.

La Yeon – The Shilla Seoul, Korea

Perched on the 23rd floor, La Yeon focuses on elevating traditional Korean cuisine to something even more beautifully presented and elegant. The Braised Korean Beef Ribs are absolutely to die for, but fear not, every tasting menu ends in a traditional dessert and Korean tea. Using only the highest quality of local and seasonal ingredients, you can enjoy the true Hansik traditions that are evident throughout the meal whilst peeping the overly gorgeous views of Namsan Park. Oh, and if you think you know bibimbap, you certainly haven’t tried theirs…

Cheval Blanc – Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois, Basel, Switzerland

The hotel is literally a destination of its own, but add in the pristine atmosphere of Cheval Blanc and renowned cuisine of chef Peter Knogl and this is one you don’t want to miss. Life is short right? Using nothing but the best ingredients (would we expect anything less?) the food is classic yet modern, offering perfectly balanced and sophisticated food, with an amuse bouche you won’t soon forget. The view over the Rhine isn’t too bad either!

Hidden through a glass door with only eight seats and a steel topped bar, it would be easy to miss Jose Andres restaurant-within a restaurant, but you’d be seriously missing out. Offering an opulent, creative and downright delicious Spanish style tasting menu it’s hardly surprising to find a cotton candy foie gras on the menu. Just make sure you book well in advance, bring an appetite.. and a little extra cash to hit the casinos afterwards.

Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Oxfordshire, England

Enjoy a culinary journey in the British countryside, with dishes that take you across the English Channel. Chef Raymond Blanc is a culinary genius and produces stunning dishes with a twist of French flair in his kitchen garden. The manor boasts two acres of produce-featuring over 90 types of vegetables and 70 varietals of herb- picked fresh for the spectacular menu. The location is as stunning as the dishes (which is saying a lot). If you’re into fish, be sure not to miss the fillet of brill with oyster, cucumber, wasabi, seaweed, samphire-and whatever you fancy, save some room for the unique and creative desserts.
