Did you just do a double take? $1248 is the standard going rate for economy to Brazil or Argentina, and we’ve actually seen far worse for the 10 hour journey. And that’s in economy! So when we highlight a deal in flat bed business class, on a great airline, allowing you total comfort and pampering for the same price, we totally get it. It’s bonkers! These kind of deals don’t last long – so here’s how to turn boring old economy into beds, for the same price.

Avianca has transformed their brand into a leading international airline flying excellent planes with even better seats. There are options to both Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo with flat beds the entire way. But business class is more than just beds! You’ll enjoy airport lounges, airport security fast track and plane food that may even be worth eating! These deals are at their very cheapest from New York City, but excellent deals also exist from Boston, Los Angeles and Miami, amongst others.

The Sao Paulo deals are available on select dates in April and May and then wide open in the months of June and September 2018. Other months are available for about $400 more. The Buenos Aires deals are available on select dates in August, September, October and November for departures between Tuesday and Thursday.

Google Flights make these deals really easy to book, while they last. These prices are legitimately what most people pay for economy, so we can’t expect they’ll stick around long. Always you have 24 hours to cancel after booking for a full refund, if you can’t make it work. Better to get in and cancel than miss out. Here are the best round trip business class deals, like: $1293 New York to Buenos Aires, $1248 New York to Sao Paulo, $1448 Miami to Sao Paulo, $1629 Boston To Rio De Janeiro and $1896 Los Angeles to Sao Paulo or Rio De Janeiro. By the way, Buenos Aires is one of the best “foodie” cities in the world… and Rio there’s just so much to do.

  1. Thanks for the tip. I have been wanting to take a trip to South America, now September seems like a great time to go. And, being frugal, I have never flown business class, looks like I can now – win/win.

    1. Thanks for your lovely comment. Be sure to search out “lie flat” versus “angle flat” on Google Flights for the best experience. It’s all great, but the lie flat is a real treat. Have a great trip! Where ya heading?
