No one likes the class pet, but occasionally paying attention and following advice has it’s benefits. Perhaps more than any other time in blog history, today is a perfect example of why one piece of advice can go a long way. On top of that, if you’ve been looking to use miles to fly the best cabin in the world now is your chance and if we still haven’t grabbed your attention, there’s an Uber style service for Cadillacs starting in NYC. Here’s a round up of the most interesting travel stories of the day…

10,000 FREE Alaska Miles For People Who Had A Virgin America Account (Or Both Virgin America And Alaska)…

If you followed the advice here or here (and countless other times in other posts) you would’ve opened frequent flyer accounts with airlines you may have never flown or didn’t particularly care about, just because a situation could potentially arise where it benefits you to have one. For anyone who followed that advice and opened a Virgin America account prior to December 5th, 2016, you’l be receiving 10,000 Alaska miles, if you open an Alaska Airlines account and link them before January 31st. Simply follow these steps to link your two accounts and you should see a fresh 10,000 Alaska miles deposited in no time. If you already had both a Virgin America account and an Alaska account, you may already have the miles deposited into your Alaska account. If not, just use the link above to link your accounts and you should see them shortly…

Amazing Etihad First Apartment Space Using Miles…

Etihad’s First Class Apartment is a rare gem in the sky featuring a plush seat and a separate bed, not to mention a closable door sealing you off to the world. One amazing aspect of the awe inspiring experience is that you can take it in using miles and if you use American Airlines AAdvantage miles you can do it without breaking the mileage bank and there are plenty of other currencies you can use to book it! ViewFromTheWing has excellent coverage on how to find availability, book it in and experience a luxury apartment in the sky!

Cadillac Launching Subscription Service In New York City…

Cadillac is the first car manufacturer to jump into subscription service. For a (ridiculous) $1500 per month, you can have a Cadillac delivered to you in NYC and you can pick any car you want from their offerings. The idea is more of a long term plan, where people who travel frequently will eventually be able to have a car delivered to them wherever they are without worrying about rentals, availability or hassle. I’m not advocating this for anyone who’s first name isn’t Kanye and last name isn’t West, but it’s a unique idea and as the service expands it could become an interesting proposition for high net worth travelers with transportation needs.
