Having connectivity in the air (and on the ground) is awesome. Turning a mundane flight into a binge session of productivity, or just some social media sharing is a treat that seemingly never grows old. But in flight wifi is usually ridiculously expensive- like $9.99 for an hour expensive. No longer! One company is offering an absurdly good deal on wifi and after a month of testing, it’s fantastic and it really works…

$10 A Month Via US Mobile Gets You iPass. Cancel Anytime…

US Mobile has a staggering deal which gets users access to iPass. iPass is the newest challenger to Boingo, and they seem to offer the best value out there at the moment. You gain access to truly unlimited wifi on 23 airlines and 100,000+ hotspots in cities around the world.

Update: the pass is currently sold out, but I’m told more are on the way shortly. Be SURE to join the mailing list to be notified when they are available again.

Which Airlines And Locations Are We Talking?

So yeah 23 airlines on domestic and international flights, woohoo! Aer Lingus, Aero Mexico, Air Austral, Air Berlin, Air Canada, Air Serbia, Alaska Airlines, Alitalia, American Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Delta Airlines, Etihad Airways, Eurowings, GOL Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Japan Airlines, Kenya Airways, KLM, Level, Lufthansa, Malindo Air, Singapore Airlines, Swiss International, United Airlines, Virgin America, Virgin Atlantic, WestJet. Howssat’ for a start? Additionally, the iPass service works at more than 60,000,000 hotspots in 120 countries

How It Works In Practice…

Once you subscribe you’ll be able to activate one device. Be sure not to activate the service on a device you don’t want to use. After subscribing- you don’t have to actually activate and initiate your service immediately- instead you can wait until you’re ready to maximize the service. When that time comes, follow the instructions in the email to activate on your device. This will involve downloading iPass to your device.

iPass Is Your Go To For In Flight And Hotspot Wifi…

We’ll start by saying that the iPass app i fantastic. It seamlessly manages connections, automatically logging you in to active connections. And yes, you can turn it off. On flights, you’ll navigate to the iPass app to begin signing in. The app will seamlessly bypass most of the process automatically, minus the “prove you’re human” part. It often takes a couple goes to get it up and running, but it works. We’ve used it successfully on multiple airlines.
