It’s Friday, we’re having a party in London tonight and most of you are gearing up for bigger parties tomorrow night (happy early New Year by the way)! Before we depart for the lands of champagne towers, soon to be forgotten resolutions and hangovers, we wanted to take a moment to highlight some exciting opportunities to save on travel (and save some time) in 2017…

6,500 Alaska Airlines Miles For $79 And Get Wine Too…

Lets start off with the basis that 6,500 airline miles for less than $100 is always a fantastic value. That’s especially true when we’re talking about an airline whose miles offer amazing rates on incredible airline partners like Cathay Pacific, Qantas and Japan Airlines. If that’s not sweet enough, throw in 15 bottles of wine which may be worth drinking and that’s a cracking deal. Virgin America has a deal for 5,000 Virgin Elevate miles when you buy their $79 wine package. Since those points can convert at a 1.3x ratio on January 9th to Alaska Mileage Plan miles, you’re effectively buying 6,500 Alaska miles at an amazing rate.

You Can Now Book Partner Flights Using Korean Airline Miles Online

Korean Airlines has long been an excellent way to book flights on Air France, Delta, Alitalia, KLM and other SkyTeam partners at excellent rates using miles. The problem has forever been that you had to call in to book the seats, wasting no less than 25 minutes and likely far more. You can now book these flights online! For just 80,000 Korean Skypass miles you can book round trip business class between the US and Europe and you can also instantly create those points via your Chase Credit Card Ultimate Rewards Points… HT: ViewFromtheWing…
