If you’ve been hoping and waiting for one of those epic business class deals mentioned on the internet you’ve come to the right place. You can now pull out your wallet, do your happy dance and get booking. Some of the best airlines are offering amazing deals on fancy business class flights to Europe, putting you in flat beds for a mere fraction of the cost….

The Deal

OneWorld and SkyTeam, which basically means Delta, British Airways, American, KLM and Air France are battling it out for a few major cities in the US and Europe so they’re offering fares as low as $1100 round trip from tons of departure points to quite a few European destinations. The best deals are from San Francisco to Rome, Venice or Istanbul, from Houston to Venice or from Newark (New York) to Munich. Since Europe has incredible low cost options for intra European travel, it’s easy to use these flights for the long haul and then buy a cheap connection or use miles to where you want to go…

The Dates

There are dates available from August 2016 through to March 2017. Finding dates around the holidays will require some searching but is possible, while things like Thanksgiving and into the New Year appear wide open. You’ll do best by using a six or seven night (or more) minimum stay. Pull up your favorite airline’s website or search on Google.com/flights.

How To Book

For Delta, KLM or Air France you can get the best deals without applying any discounts. For British Airways, whatever the lowest fare you find is, you can take an additional $400 off by signing up for AARP, which really is open to everyone of every age and then clicking over to British Airways while logged in. I explain the whole process HERE (scroll down in the post). It’s totally worth doing. We’ve reviewed Delta Business Class HERE, British Airways Business Class HERE and British Airways First Class (which you can upgrade these fares to for 20,000 miles) HERE.

Expert Tips

Be sure to earn miles for this trip. Most itineraries will earn over 12,000 miles with some offering more than 25,000. That’s another free flight in itself. Also, if you have some credit card points or British Airways miles, you can upgrade these fares to First Class (reviewed HERE) for just 20,000 miles one way. If you are looking to fly on American or British Airways, this is also a great time to sign up for the American Airlines Platinum status challenge, which will secure you elite status for the whole next year with lots of benefits even when (if) you fly economy.
