Forget $1274, if you have any British AIrways, Chase or Amex points you can bring that number under $700 round trip! FLASH! I believe that flash sales are the future of exciting travel. British Airways seems to be listening and as such they have just launched an insane flash business class sale allowing you to fly for $1274 round trip direct from New York, San Francisco, Miami or Los Angelesto London and MANY other European cities. Don’t forget we’re talking lounge access, fast track security, flat bed business! If you don’t like British Airways, for $1600 you can fly Virgin Atlantic or Delta!

The Deal

Click HERE to view the deal directly from British Airways but don’t book directly from there, you’ll save money following an easy tip below. Virtually the entire calendar year is available at this rate including summer dates. It’s literally cheaper than Premium Economy and many dates in economy right now. The deal expires tomorrow but will likely sell out today.

You’ll be able to lock in the $1274 by joining AARP. It’s $16 a year, open to all ages and takes seconds to register for online. No problems. We are members and we are 28 years old. As I mentioned, If you have any American Express or Chase Points you can knock the price even lower by transferring them to the British Airways frequent flyer program. 15,000 points will get you a further $383 off the flight which without the AARP discount is about $1400. Taking $383 off makes it just a hair over $1000 round trip. If you happen to have or can transfer 30,000 British Airways points you can take a whopping $766 off the flight! That makes it less than $700 out of pocket for paid. The miles and money fare earns full miles and tier points mileage and tier points just as if you used all cash for a round trip business class booking. Shocking.

My Tip

Be SURE to register for the British Airways or American Airlines bonus promotion offering 12,500 miles each way for business class on top of the 10,000 or more you’ll already earn. This makes a near 50,000 mile round trip. The London City ALL business class flight is available on certain dates. It’s a unique product flying into the only airport in the heart of London. Very unique, very cool. Usually this flight retails at higher prices than business!
