I owe you an explanation, and whether they will give you one or not, British Airways does too. When we did our reader survey, most of you said you loved hearing about deals, and wanted to hear more. I took your suggestion seriously. Unfortunately, that now leads me to the bit where I apologize to your wallets, and mine. I never expected this many good deals.

The Deals

British Airways Europe to US £660 Round Trip + First Options

Is matching Star Alliance by offering fares below $1000 (£660) from both Copenhagen and Dublin to the United States. You can score business class to New York for Christmas and New Year, or just New Year for £686. If you want to mix a paid first class segment in there, you can do so one way for just £1200. One way in club, one way in First. For high rollers, £1600 round trip first class is pretty impressive…

Singapore Airlines US To Europe $1999 Round Trip

Is offering a two person special, where you can fly business for $1999 per person from New York to Frankfurt on their signature A380. It’s a bit expensive, but you’ll fly on the worlds best business class product, hands down.

LOT $1200 Canada To Europe Round Trip

Are offering drastically low fares for summer travel, during peak months. You can find flights from Toronto (short hop from any east cost city) to Switzerland and other points in Europe for just $1200 round trip. They fly a Dreamliner with flat bed business class.

The Dates

British Airways: Wide open, dates going through NEXT New Year for best prices…

Singapore Airlines: Depart between Feb 01-March 31st. Finish travel by April 30th.

LOT: Wide Open, summer months seem most available.

As much as I’d love to send you to some third party ghetto site to pull commission off of all your purchases, booking these direct with the airlines British Airways, Singapore and LOT will be the best practice. It will ensure full mileage earning and the least hassle should you need to make changes.

Expert Tips

Weaving is a beautiful tool, not only in basket making, but in flying. If your poor wallet would allow it, you could take advantage of all these deals by weaving returns in between other segments. I recently booked two trips where the first booking featured the second segment and the last segment of the two trips, the other trip simply floats in between.
