  1. Very good price ,but it is cheap for a reason. Not sure heading to the Far East is super smart right now ??

    1. As usual, fear wins. Japan is still incredibly low on the case count with excellent quarantine in place for weeks. I think you’d stand a far greater statistical chance of getting mugged in New York than catching the virus in Tokyo.

  2. I found this deal a couple days ago. The trick is getting Delta One “SUITES” vs just Delta One, which both are being offered at 90K.

Routes + offerings I’ve seen so far 90K:
    • LAX for DO Suites (layover in PDX)
    • SEA for DO Suites (no layover)
    • PDX for DO (no layover)
    • NYC for DO (layover in PDX)

I’m based in NYC, so I first booked an RT economy positioning flight for 32.5K miles to LAX. Then I booked LAX-HND RT (layover in SEA) for 90K, which gave me First (LAX-SEA)/Delta One Suites (SEA-HND). That’s 122.5K RT NYC-HND mixed cabin—Econ, First and DO Suites. (I’m Platinum though, so fingers crossed for transcon DO upgrades on the NYC-LAX/LAX-NYC legs 🤞🏾). Hope this helps with alternative configurations to take advantage of this great deal if you’re not west-coast based.
