If you’re one of the amazing people that comes to look for travel news every day, you’ve probably been wondering what’s going on over here? Well, for the first time since 2014, I’m putting the gloves (keyboard) down and actually enjoying a trip without blogging. Well, minus this post.

Since 2014 we’ve grown the site into a place where millions of people come for travel advice, deals and inspiration every day. To be the best in that regard it takes a lot of passion. I’ll be back, with more content than ever on May 2nd. The site may even look different too…

This trip started in New York, with a one night stay in Stockholm (great city), before picking up a Qatar Airways business class deal (just like the ones I note on the site) to Singapore (via Doha). We flew aboard their 787 and A350, two magnificent planes. Now, we’ll be in Singapore for a couple nights, Bali for a few nights in both Ubud and Nusa Lembogan, back to Singapore for a night and then onto London for some hang time before returning to the hustle and bustle of New York. Thanks for your patience. In the meantime, read ViewFromTheWing. It’s my favorite.
