You know that iconic bridge in Sydney harbor? The one in all the photos near the Opera House? Yeah that one. Now imagine the 360° views from the very top of the bridge as night settles in. Lights, ocean, bustling city below, Amazing. Now go further. imagine bumping music, flashing lights… and then you… shaking your money maker without a care in the world. It’s more than a deranged music video idea! For two months tourists and locals alike can score tickets for the experience of a lifetime…

Sydney’s VIVID festival is a month long celebration of all things light, music and ideas. Fusing all three pillars of their festival into one, the city has decided to setup a 14 person retro dance floor atop the Harbor Bridge. For $190(USD) per person, you and your posse can live it up to the sounds, lights and vibes of the 1970’s, complete with safety harnesses of course. Because yeah, you’re going “full tourist” to start the evening off, climbing the bridge the old fashioned way en route to your epic dance floor in the sky…

Let’s pause for a moment here to just let the ridiculousness spelled out above sink in. Can you think of a more unforgettable moment than a private dance party on top of an iconic landmark, complete with fresh air, great white sharks lurking below and VIVID art and light installations everywhere (not to mention the Opera House)? If you happen to be in Sydney from May 26th to June 17th, this may be too good to pass up. You can buy tickets here
