Run, don’t walk to get your credit card, because one of the best deals of the year is just a click away. Auckland, New Zealand is one of the hottest destinations of the year and it’s almost never cheap to get there. It is however, absolutely gorgeous once you make it! Fortunately, there’s an incredible flash fare which will get you round trip at pricing bordering insanity…

The Deal

Thai Airways is offering a flash sale from London Heathrow to Auckland, with potential to stop in Bangkok for a couple days on the way, on the way back, or both. For just £389 you can lock in the flights, which feature a lovely A380 from London to Bangkok and a 777 from Bangkok to Auckland.

The Dates

These flights are available from March to June of next year (2017). If you don’t see the price when searching HERE for your dates, search other dates, as there’s only limited availability for each date at those prices.

Booking The Deal

This is a better than average (incredible) deal, so it’s worth noting that you should wait at least a week before booking any non refundable other parts of your trip such as hotels, excursions. To book, simply visit Momondo, which will show you the price and give you options of where to book. Plug in your own dates if those that automatically come up don’t work. If that seems complicated, I recommend booking with adam.corin@flightcentre.co.uk, a great travel agent.

Expert Tips

Look into visiting Milford Sound and Queenstown as part of your trip. It’s not easy to get there and both offer unrivaled beauty. Thai Airways is a Star Alliance carrier, so you can earn miles with many different top airlines, including Singapore Airlines for these flights. Figure out whose miles will be most useful to you and earn them! There’s a great tool called “WhereToCredit” which will tell you roughly how many miles you’ll earn with each program…
