Monday, Monday. It’s back to work for many of us and what better time to receive a dose of all things pressing in travel, loyalty programs and aviation than right now. It’s been a semi quiet weekend of news, yet there are some things which could benefit many, many of which you’ll want to act quickly on.

Icelandair 96 Hour Sale

Icelandair are having a 96 Hour sale from the US to Europe and vice versa. The key here is that you are allowed a free stopover in Iceland for as long as you wish, allowing a two for one trip. They’ll even arrange a complimentary buddy for you to hang out in Reykjavik. Of course, you’ll have to pay for any excursions but the buddy, is free. The sale is focused around Boston and Washington and New York, and  London, Copenhagen, Paris, Stockholm, Munich. You’ll find round trip prices under $600, with the best fares at $499 from the US and less than £400 from UK and surrounding areas. Pretty great for a trip to Iceland and Europe or the US…

25% Bonus On Marriott To United Transfers

It’s great to have both hotel and airline points. Sometimes we earn disproportionate amounts of one or the other, and or lose our interest or need for one. If you’re flush with Marriott points, or prefer Airbnb or another hotel group, you can convert your Marriott points to United with a very attractive 25% bonus. First, sign up for the promotion HERE. Second, you’ll visit the promotion, where you’ll see that you can convert points at a better rate than usual, offering a further 10% savings on transfers. For example, you can transfer 112,000 Marriott points into 50,000 United miles, and then receive the 25% bonus, giving you 62,500. A great number for a one way flight in style, or long haul in economy.

Last Day For 50,000 Mile American Airlines Card Bonus

I’ve been considering grabbing an American Airlines card for a while, if you’re in the same boat, take this as fair warning that the heightened 50,000 point bonus expires today. If you plan to get the card, you’ll need to be sure to follow a link reflecting 50,000 points, or call in to apply for safety. It’s a great offer and even after the upcoming March 22nd minor devaluation, they will still be amongst the best miles to have, offering better rates to most destinations than many competitors, especially in business class.
