Business or pleasure, Mr. Bond? Better yet, a first class experience should offer the best of both. Converting from office to screening room and private bedroom, all in one, this excitingly revolutionary design from B/E Aerospace could be a breakout performer and the future of business and luxury travel. If the pictures don’t sell you, the video will…

Literally titled “Breakout”, this new seat by B/E Aerospace combines all things loved in today’s best business and first class products, in one revolutionary, convertible design. The “breakout”, transformable design, is capable of turning an ottoman into a working business desk, before quickly shape shift into a seat for a fellow passenger (hopefully one you know and like) who can comfortable join you for dinner… or business. Of course, there’s a bed too…

Perhaps the single greatest feature of this new design is that your seat does not double into a bed, there is an entirely separate surface, which comes out of the seat wall, forming a truly flat bed with real, mattress qualities. The seat is is currently being sized up for use on 777, A380 and other wide body aircraft, capable of accommodating four passengers (lucky bastards) across. I don’t think anything quite paints the picture like this video below.

When there is a way to use miles for this juggernaut seat, rest assured I’ll let you know. Until then you’ll have to settle with the Most Luxurious Ways To Spend Your Miles. As competition flares and routes become more coveted than the crown jewels; we sit back, relax and don’t even have to worry about tray tables. It’s a truly wonderful time to collect points and miles.
