Qatar Airways are offering their “biggest promotion to date” and though I generally find offers like this to be total…well.. you know, this one is offering some pretty stellar fares. Though this fare is one of the many available, it’s an incredible opportunity to visit Thailand in peak season for less than the usual price of an economy ticket in a luxurious bed. Just £762 for round trip business on Qatar Airways aboard their Dreamliner and A380! On board bar!
Qatar Airways are running a massive world wide promo, if these flights aren’t of interest to you, check other. Though there are good offers from many cities, it seems hard to beat those found out of Oslo, where business class to Asia or South Africa can be found at exceptional rates. Remember, it’s just a short £9.99 Ryanair flight to Oslo to score over twelve hours in a bed! £762 for tons of miles, tons of flying and the experience of two of Qatar Airways nicest planes in business class, their spacious A380 and their state of the art 787 Dreamliner. Gorgeous.
The deal must be booked by January 17th, but these prices will run out when the promotional inventory runs out, likely before then. The sale itself mentions dates from now until December 15th of 2016. I ran a simple search in September and October, a lovely time to visit Thailand and Southeast Asia and found availability at the price described. Plug in your dates and look for options where each way will cost roughly 5,000NOK, which when converted to GBP will equate to £762 for a 10,000NOK return.
As is almost always the case, it’s best to book direct with Qatar Airways. You’ll be able to find dates, ideal flying times and everything you need to get this done. I recommend crediting the flights to British Airways or American Airlines, where you will earn a tremendous stack of miles and elite status points. We all love those! Enjoy the experience in time lapse from reader and friend Luke Smith below!
Qatar Airways does not offer a free 24 hour cancellation policy. Once you book it, you’re locked in and changes or cancellation will cost money. If you’re worried about the fare selling out, try placing it on hold, some regions allow you to “pay later”, giving you a window to hold. For roughly £1000 (total including ticket) you could make your ticket refundable. If like me you prefer the amazing rate, just get your dates lined up before booking and commit to it! There aren’t better fares to get to Thailand, especially not in business class on a five star carrier!
