Champagne taste with a bit more practicality in the budget? No problem. New York city break or Miami beach time high on the vacation list? Perfect. Here's a chance to grab an amazing deal where the toughest decision you'll face is whether you'd like to spend the 14+ hours of round trip indulgence and relaxation across the Atlantic Ocean in British Airways Club World or Virgin Atlantic Upper Class. Good problems indeed!

The Deal

Dublin, so accessible, so full of deals. For those who'd rather pay £1100 than £3000 for the exact same flights, grabbing a cheap (or free) flight to Dublin is the way to go. Airlines are in hot pursuit to catch the buzz of tourism in Ireland, and as such, they're offering some crazy competitive fares to try to win your business. Both Virgin Atlantic and British Airways are offering some spectacular deals just about any month you wish, in business class style...

Is It Worth Getting To Dublin?

Short answer? Yes. You can get to Dublin from most of Europe or the UK with a direct flight and in most cases, just 9,000 British Airways miles will get you there virtually for free round trip. Short of that, something like Ryanair works well. After all, you're saving over £1000 per person by going to the trouble. On your return, if you manage to grab an overnight connection from London to Dublin and would prefer to just hop off in London, you could collect your bags and do so, though without an overnight, your bags would go to Dublin and there are risks (details HERE). Never tell an airline you plan to do so.

The Dates

This deal is available from November 19th-30th, December 21st-31st and all of January, February and March 2017. In any of these months you'll be able to pull up £1162 and in other months and dates you'll likely find £1255. How do you check? I thought you might ask. Simply start with these links, where I've pulled up a sample to New York HERE and to Miami HERE. You can then play with your dates to find the prices. Note, you may be shown a higher price as the first result, just scroll down to see these lower (better) prices...

Booking This Deal...

Google Flights will show you a couple options to book the deal. Any will work just fine and you can even book direct on British Airways if you want to go that route, so you can even use miles to upgrade to First. If you wish to go the Virgin Atlantic route, you'll need to book with a site that Google Flights suggests. I recommend eDreams, CheapOair or any other online travel agent. You'll still earn full miles and tier points and hey, you're already flying business class so you don't need to worry about upgrades...

Expert Tips

This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of a Virgin Atlantic status challenge, or to grab instant Bronze status with British Airways for the trip. Be sure to earn miles by putting in a frequent flyer number either way, and most importantly, be nice to your flight crews and enjoy your vacation. You earned it..
