Goodbye cramped quarters! There are hotel rooms and then there are suites. Usually reserved for sports stars, rockstars, hollywood glitterati and politicians, suites are the level above, usually literally. You can join MJ, Bono and Bill Clinton on the top floor for a fraction of what they paid by taking advantage of Hyatt's fast track to Platinum and Diamond challenge. Who wouldn't want suite upgrades, bigger rooms and thousands in hotel benefits in some awe inspiring properties through to 2017?!
Hyatt Diamond status is one of the most rewarding hotel loyalty tiers out there. Perhaps the mint of all benefits, you can upgrade your stay to a suite four times annually on any paid stay up to seven nights. For those planning a vacation, this can be leveraged into a "dear lord" ridiculous benefit. You could book a stay at any of Hyatt's finest properties, notably the brand new state of the art Park Hyatt New York, Park Hyatt Maldives (pictured below) or the Park Hyatt Vendome Paris and upgrade to a suite, usually running thousands per night for up to seven consecutive nights, an incredible opportunity to experience world class luxury from the highest floors for the lowest prices. As a Diamond member, on all stays you receive "club level" access entitling you to a complimentary full breakfast, nightly hors d'oeuvres, the best (non suite) room available on all stays, free premium wifi and a welcome amenity.
The Fast Track Challenge is fairly straight forward and no status with another chain is necessary to enroll (phew). Simply Call Hyatt Gold Passport to register for the "Diamond Fast Track" promotion, stay 6 nights in 60 days for Platinum or 12 nights in 60 days (from time of registration) for Diamond. When there is a great offer out there, waiting is never the brightest idea. At the same time, for now, you can enroll up until March of 2016 giving you great flexibility as to when you want to "start" your 60 day challenge. For those of you with more money than sense, don't enroll in the challenge today if your known travel occurs in 90 days. Wait 30 days, enroll and then stay stay stay. To the best of my knowledge, you are given trial Platinum status (far less lucrative than Diamond) during your trial and automatically get the bump to Diamond upon completion of 12 nights of paid stays. There are some affordable Hyatt's out there so this can be gamed quite well. Obviously don't go far out of your way to stay twelve nights, but if it happens to coincide with upcoming travel, this is a fantastic opportunity to elevate your future travel and create some incredible memories in a big time bling bling baller suite.
