Emirates Introducing Dom Perignon Plénitude Deuxième 1998 On Select Flights!

We couldn't help but laugh out loud while sitting in a well appointed, fully enclosed suite drinking Dom Perignon a couple months back. The 2006 was everything one could ever reasonably ask for from an on board experience, but in an aim for new heights, Emirates is going further. The airline has announced that in partnership with Dom Perignon, they will offer Plénitude Deuxième 1998 on select international flights in First Class, a bottle fetching more than double the current 2006 vintage. Etihad Releases Incredible Aerial Acrobatics Formula One Video...

For anyone who loves A380's, fighter jets, grand prix's, race cars or the sky and general amazement, in no particular order, Etihad has released just the video for you. The airline partnered with the UAE Aerobatics Team to bring guests of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this past weekend an incredible show, before the big race car show. No word as to whether or not any champagne was spilled in first class during the flight, but we're investigating....

Qatar Airways To Launch Eight New Routes...

Qatar Airways are on a very rapid quest for worldwide route domination. Since they love to drop fares to introduce and entice these new routes, travelers generally rejoice. The airline has just announced plans for service to Rio De Janeiro, Santiago, Canberra, Dublin, Las Vegas, Medan, Tabuk and Yanbu, presented in order of our general interest for each destination. These routes are all expected to launch between 2017 and 2018, with more detail to follow shortly and it's safe to expect that their A350 would play a major role. Let's hope for some incredible introductory fares on many routes which seem to never be on sale...
