Airberlin Offering NEW Status Match With More Countries Eligible...

A status match is one of the most effective ways to turn hard earned status with one airline into meaningful status with many others. Getting status with Airberlin will give you benefits on all OneWorld Airlines, often including lounge access, business class check in and more, even when flying economy. The airline is BACK with their status match and this time they've included eight eligible countries to match from: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and USA. To match, take a picture of your current airline's elite card, sign up for the Airberlin program (for free), copy your new Airberlin number down, and attach both to an email to: statusmatch@topbonus.de requesting to be matched. Best of luck. Oh, and don't forget you'll also now have benefits on Etihad...

20-25% Bonus On Points Transfers To Etihad + Alitalia...

If you've been eyeing a flight using Etihad or Alitalia, or any of their partners, you're in luck. When you transfer your points into either program you'll get a bonus, 20% to Etihad and 25% to Alitalia. To take advantage of the Alitalia bonus, you'll need to transfer American Express Membership Rewards points. To take advantage of the Etihad bonus, you can transfer points from anywhere. The bonus comes from Etihad, so when you transfer, you won't see a bonus listed, the points will appear once transferred into the Etihad program. Both offers expire October 30th, so make the most. Etihad points offer the lowest possible cost in miles for business class between the US and Europe on their partner Brussels Airlines...

Amex Confirms 5x Points Earning On Airfare With Amex Platinum....

Amex just confirmed a major step in competing with the hot new premium cards on the market, introducing 5X points earning on all airfare purchases, uncapped. Effective October 5th, all airfare purchases with Amex Platinum (absolutely in the US, possibly in other markets) will earn 5X points. This is a huge earning opportunity for anyone who regularly purchases airline tickets, especially those who purchase premium tickets or tickets for the whole family. This was an overdue move, with new cards out working the Platinum (which I no longer hold) in the premium credit card market.
