Qatar Airways Is Scrambling To Keep Up With Newly Imposed Restrictions…

Qatar Airways is one of our favorite airlines, but they’re not having a good week at the office. Caught up in a diplomatic row between Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Maldives, Egypt and other GCC nations, the airline is scrambling to find new routes to keep flights on time, despite a majority of the airspace around the state now being closed off. In addition, Qatar hasn’t been proactive in offering travel waivers for passengers who no longer wish to transit through Doha given the international tensions. Presently, waivers are only issued for flights to the UAE and Saudi Arabia for travel through to July 6th. Watch this space for more updates to follow shortly…
