Once relevant singer Jason Derulo is an American Airlines invite only Concierge Key member. He checked in late, past cut off time at Miami and was not allowed to check luggage as per standard procedure. His 8 person entourage boarded the plane, leaving one man behind to check luggage on a later flight. American apparently wanted $6k for the excess luggage to be checked, so Jason, after the plane had pushed back from the gate and was taxiing demanded to usurp the needs of 300 or so passengers and have the plane turn back to the gate so that he could go ballistic, for something that was his fault to begin with.
