Earn BONUS American Airlines Miles For Hilton Stays…

Hilton allows people staying at their hotels to earn both Hilton points and airline miles at the same time. Pretty cool. Rather than just earning Hilton points you can also simultaneously earn points with a variety of airlines, with the only catch being that you’ll earn less Hilton points than you would have if you weren’t also earning airline miles. American Airlines is currently offering a promotion with Hilton where you’ll earn a bonus 500 miles per night when selecting American AAdvantage as your “double dip” airline of choice. Access the offer here for stays completed before March 27th, 2017.

Delta 5,000 Mile Flash Sale Of The Month….

Since Delta has largely turned their Skymiles program into a shambles where anyone who isn’t a full time points blogger can’t realistically have a clue how many points they’ll need for a specific flight they have started offering flash sales using miles. These “flash” (monthly) sales offer pretty solid opportunity to extract good value for your points, and with no surcharges they can get you pretty darn close to “free” travel. You can depart from many US cities to many US cities and even a few Canadian options are included. Have a look here for travel that needs to be booked by January 13th for travel up to July 2017.

25% Bonus Transferring Citi Points To Virgin Atlantic…

Citi Thank You points are an increasingly valuable currency to earn. They’re currently offering a 25% bonus on transfers to Virgin Atlantic, which although generous, is not often going to be the best option, given Virgin Atlantic’s ghastly cash surcharges added onto the cost in miles. If you have an upcoming use for their miles, or could turn this into a lucrative redemption with their partner Air China who lets you book First Class round trip London to Beijing for 75,000 miles it’s not a terrible option.
