Air France and KLM’s “Flying Blue” frequent flyer program can offer excellent value. Even if you don’t have any miles with them, you can instantly create some using Chase, Citi or Amex Points. One opportunity for excellent value with the program is in the form of their monthly “Promo Awards”, which offer discounts on the amount of miles needed between specific cities. This month you can fly business class between anywhere in Europe and Vancouver (starting in either direction) for just 62,500 round trip, or half that one way. Incredible value. Details HERE.

100,000 Point Credit Card Bonus Rumors…

As always, worldwide readers outside the US will want to close their eyes. Chase is rumored to be launching a more premium version of the Chase Sapphire Preferred, one of my two favorite go to cards. The new offering will be similar to Amex Platinum or Citi Prestige and feature airport lounge access, an airline fee credit rumored to be $300 amongst other perks. We’re hearing the card will have a 100,000 Point Chase Ultimate Rewards Points bonus, which means you can convert those points into miles with many top airlines including Singapore, Virgin Atlantic, Korean, United and more. Good coverage of the rumors HERE.
